The Third International Forum «Food Safety» is held in Saint-Petersburg on 25-27, October, 2011.

The Forum is officially supported by:
The Government of the Russian Federation, in association with Agricultural Ministry of Russia and other profile state departments; Representatives of President of Russian Federation in North-Western Federal District; Committee of the Food and Agricultural Organization Politics and Fishery Complex of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation; Agrarian, natural, nature management Committees of the State Duma; The Standing Commission on an agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology of Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States; The Government of Saint-Petersburg.

The main activities of the Forum:

• Plenary session
Current situation of foodstuff industry in Russia. Problems and ways of the foodstuff safety control - from raw materials to final products. The role of legislation and government regulation to ensure the safety of food.
• Specialized exhibition «ExpoProdBezopasnost-2011». The complex of technical means, technology and control systems ensuring production of safe agricultural products, fisheries, food and processing industries.
• Round tables. Actual issues on safety and quality of foodstuffs.
• Seminar-presentations of the recent advances in food industry.
